Tracking drums… Love these boys! And our lounge room drum room. Such a warm amazing sound :)
Can’t wait to hear this - or any - recording from the awesomeness that is Holly Who.

Line Up The Shots
As I sit in a cafe in Surry Hills mooching their free wifi, proofing my album artwork and preparing it for print, I think I am literally on the brink of a mini-breakdown.
It seems as though all the massive and minor decisions and deliberations about sound, edits, masters, reverb, design, punctuation, fonts, choosing the best cover image out of 600, bleeding (images, not me), RGB vs CMYK, high res-ness, kerning, turning words, whether the blues will change in print etc etc that were such tiny yet agonising desicions at the time, were nothing compared to the tedious and totally-out-of-your-hands home stretch stuff. Somehow it’s the coordinating of burning final master discs, messing about with dropbox, printing proofs, and general technical issues that will cause me to lose it.
And to top it off, they’ve just started playing Adele’s latest album in the cafe - instant tearjerker.
I feel paralysed, like it’s all too much to even get in the car and continue to function enough to see this through. But, alone, in this cafe, looking over this project - MY project, I’m reminded that this is all up to me, and me alone. Sure, there have been 50 million people who have leant their time and efforts and i thank them to the sky - but in the end, it’s me who has to make this happen.
And make this happen I will. Just as soon as ‘Hometown Glory’ finishes and I don’t have to actively fight the urge to cry.
Damn Adele.

You’re KIDDING me - someone has just put ‘Hometown Glory’ on repeat. I AM NOT EVEN JOKING RIGHT NOW. FREAKING OUT.
